Summary

 

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Azure and a solid background in software engineering to help shape and evolve a cloud-native internal developer platform.

You’ll be instrumental in building scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure, heavily leveraging Azure services, especially Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). This role bridges infrastructure and developer tooling, ensuring operational excellence while enhancing the overall developer experience.

 

Location: Remote (Portugal)

Salary: €45k–€60k/year

 

What You’ll Do

• Help design and scale a cloud-native internal developer platform on Azure + AKS

• Build automation for provisioning, CI/CD, and app lifecycle using GitOps

• Improve security, performance, and availability across the platform

• Create developer-first tools that enhance DevX

• Collaborate with engineers to understand needs and continuously improve tooling

• Work with tools like FluxCD, Kong, Linkerd, and integrate them into Azure

 

What You Bring

• 8+ years of experience in software/platform engineering

• Strong background in Azure (AKS, networking, storage) and Kubernetes

• Comfortable with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code

• Experience with CI/CD and GitOps (e.g. GitHub Actions)

• Proficient in Go, C#, or JavaScript (one or more)

• Solid understanding of DevX, UX, and secure SDLC practices

• Great troubleshooting skills and a proactive mindset

• A team player who communicates well and learns fast
