About the Role

We are looking for a Senior ABAP Developer to join our team (up to €55k/year)!

 

In this role, you will take a leading position in the design, development, and maintenance of custom SAP applications and interfaces across S/4HANA and BTP environments. You’ll be working on modern ABAP development (RAP), building Fiori applications, and integrating with Project Systems (WBS elements), ensuring scalable and future-proof solutions.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on developer who enjoys end-to-end ownership, from architecture through to deployment and support.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable applications using modern ABAP (RAP model).

• Develop and extend Fiori/UI5 apps with OData services for seamless user experience.

• Integrate custom applications with SAP Project Systems (WBS elements) and CJ20N structures.

• Build and maintain SAP BTP extensions using Business Application Studio and Extension Suite.

• Develop, monitor, and troubleshoot interfaces using SAP AIF, including error handling routines.

• Align data models with financial/logistics objects for enhanced project-based reporting.

• Manage connectivity, destinations, and secure API consumption within BTP subaccounts.

• Support Git-based workflows and CI/CD practices in SAP development environments.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience (classical and modern).

• Deep knowledge of RAP model: CDS views, behavior definitions, metadata extensions.

• Proven experience in Fiori Elements and custom Fiori app development.

• Strong understanding of SAP BTP architecture, tools, and extension capabilities.

• Proficiency in creating and managing OData v2/v4 services.

• Experience working with WBS elements, CJ20N objects, and integration with PS module.

• Familiarity with SAP AIF for interface management and error resolution.
