Summary

We’re seeking a seasoned Machine Learning Architect to guide the design and implementation of scalable ML solutions across business units.

You’ll work closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and other technical leaders to define the future of ML systems within the organization. Your work will help bridge business needs and AI innovation, ensuring robust, production-grade ML platforms and practices.
 

Location: Remote (Portugal)

Salary: €50k-€65k/year 

 

What You’ll Do
 

• Design end-to-end ML architecture including model serving strategies—batch, real-time, and streaming inference.
• Lead the development of a robust ML experimentation platform, including hyperparameter optimization, pipeline standardization, and metadata storage.
• Manage the feature repository and enforce model governance and compliance frameworks.
• Build and maintain a cross-functional ML portfolio that reflects business unit priorities.
• Act as administrator for ML infrastructure tools including Databricks, Snowflake, and SageMaker.
• Develop and share ML best practices and technical guidelines with internal teams.
• Support performance optimization and establish reliable model monitoring systems.

What You Bring
 

• 7+ years of experience in machine learning architecture or engineering.
• Proven expertise in designing scalable ML systems and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and/or AWS SageMaker.
• Strong foundation in ML system architecture, including experimentation, model deployment, and governance.
• Experience in performance tuning and setting up robust model monitoring practices.
• Ability to work across teams and translate business challenges into ML opportunities.
